A new tree planting project we are worked on this year that piloted the end of 2020. Our goal was to help the community members of Uganda that spread across primary schools to raise awareness with the youth about sustainable living.
We forged a new partnership with the Village Care Development Foundation...
We are excited to work with one of the local non-profits in Uganda - Village Care Development Foundation. We recently completed a pilot project with them in November of 2020. This 125 tree planting experience benefited the children of Ihuura Elementary School in the Kagandi District. The children shared our excitement to plant the seedlings we donated. We will be completing the project with the school this month. Updates to come. We look forward to continuing our efforts in Uganda throughout this year with other organizations/communities. The local organization has coined their tree planting efforts as Plant It + Name It, in hopes this will engage more residents to feel a sense of ownership in beautifying their community space and making their lives more sustainable. We expect this campaign to be in full swing this spring, in which will dedicate support to help them achieve their goals.
All planting experiences adhere to proper safety precautions.
